Do they honestly want me to believe that????
So, I have begun to find it interesting that when you know you're child has done something and you ask them about it and they just say "I didn't do anything!" or "I don't know!". Do they think we are that dumb? Especially when the evidence is all over them or something else? Last week I went to check on the kids in my room because Lydia came to tell me the boys made a mess. Of course when they heard me comming they dashed into their "hiding places" like I'm not going to know they were there when there are 3 bottles of craft paint empty and spread on the wall and puddling in the drawer I keep it in. Of course the "not me" monster visited my house that day because no one here did it. Not even the two little boys with paint on their hands and faces! Yesterday Lydia came out of the kids room with black stuff all over her eyes and faces and what looked like eyeshadow or blush across her face as well. When I asked her where she got into it at she said "I didn't do anything!" I told her that I knew she did something because it was all over her face and it couldn't have just gotten there with out being put there. I went looking for the evidence and couldn't find anything. So I came back and asked her again this time telling her that if she didn't tell me the truth she would get in trouble. So, now the story changed to "I did it on my bed." I went to check and folded into a blanket was my makeup. She had tried to apply mascara and that was the black all over her eyes and cheeks and you can't have that without a little blush and eyeshadow too!!!

It is funny how little kids claim not guilty when they are "guilty as charged," so to speak. Hope it wasn't too much of a pain to clean up the paint! Cicily loves to get in my makeup as well! Don't you just love how they look afterward though?!lol!
The "not me" monster must travel a lot, because he visits my house quite often. Sorry about the huge mess! That is a pain!
